Frem til ca. 1/12 er vandet stadig relativt varmt og man kan sandsynligvis klare sig med våddragt + Smock, Spraytop – regnjakke udenpå – handsker og evt. hue. Efter 1/12 og frem til start på ny sommersæson kræver det en tørdragt. Mindre øvede skal helst have opnået god fortrolighed i jollen (ikke kæntre ved 4-5 m/s og kunne komme stabilt ud/ind a havnen for at kunne deltage). Until around 1 December, the water is still relatively warm, and you can probably manage with a wetsuit + smock/spray top, a rain jacket on top, gloves and possibly a beanie. From 1 December until the start of the new summer season, a drysuit is required. Less experienced sailors should ideally be comfortable and confident in the dinghy before joining. You should be able to sail without capsizing in around 4–5 m/s of wind and be able to get safely and consistently in and out of the harbour.
